Learning Objective: The purpose of this procedure is to show how to search for parts in the FacilityMax
Inventory Module. This procedure will also show students which warehouse the parts are located and
whether they are in stock.

Under the Module menu, select Inventory.

Under the Inventory Menu, select Inventory Part Profile.

The Inventory Part Profile screen will open. Press the Search icon.

In the Search screen go to the Description field. Select from the drop down, starts with or
contains.

Enter a partial description of the item in the Description field (hint-use “starts with” or
“contains”.)

Press the Execute Search icon.

A browse list opens with part whose description starts with “bear…”. Select which part you need
from the list by clicking on the part number link.

To find where the material is located, click on the View Select drop down and select
Warehouses.

In the Warehouses screen it shows item is in Warehouse FS010.

Press the Green done flag to return to the Inventory Part Profile.
