    Indian equity markets were up 1.61%.

    Nifty up 82 pts and settle at 5128.

    Sensex was up 244 pts at 16996.

    Bank Nifty up 266 at 9800.



Global market

    European markets were in red with FTSE down 48 pts at 5735, CAC down 41 pts at
     3297 and DAX down 84pts at 6353.

    Dow future down 51pts at 12599.

    US existing home sales came 4.61 m vs 4.39m.
