Notes for Chaperones

Thank you for agreeing to be a chaperone for When you arrive, a museum staff person will greet

our class field trip to the Burke Museum on your group, give you general information about coat

and lunch storage, drinking fountain and restroom

Some Background on the Museum & the Exhibits

NOTE: You are not expected to be an exhibit expert. The begin to understand the complex language of the

following information is for your interest only. Hawaiian hula.



The Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture is Life and Times of Washington State is our natural

located on the University of Washington campus. It is history exhibit. This exhibit takes the visitor through the
