Mission
In line with the Council’s adopted Sport and Leisure
Strategy - overarching mission:
Successful management and operation of the facility, to
provide a complete programme of sports related
activities and will seek to:
Continue to work with voluntary sports clubs
Work with other user groups, local residents and Parish
Councils
Recognise the value of volunteers and vol orgs
Strive to make the facility a premier site for the
development and participation in sport and active
recreation

Club Agreements
• Woughton on the Green is the largest multi sport hub in
Milton Keynes.
• Vision to make the site a vibrant community sports
facility providing a range of different sporting activities for
the borough of Milton Keynes.
• Work ongoing with the resident community sports clubs
and governing bodies (tennis, hockey, cricket and
baseball / softball) to develop their sports and clubs.
• Looking to develop activities for older people and holiday
schemes for children and young people

Meetings: as required but not less than three times per annum
A quorum will consist of a minimum of four including a member of the
Parish Council, The Contract Manager and a Council representative
Terms of Reference might include:
o Regular monitoring of the facility activities and programmes, past,
present and future
o Repair and maintenance of fabric and equipment of facility
o Security arrangements
o Liaison with the Council, Facility users, local residents
o Support for Contract Manager and staff
o Performance Indicators
o Marketing and promotions
