Hasselblad Lens Mount Adapter User Guide
This product is an adapter that attaches Hasselblad Lens to 35mm Digital SLR body.
Two versions of the adapter: Canon EOS EF∙EF-s and Nikon F Mount.
How-to-Use
The adapter may be attached to either the body or the lens first. Align the mark on the adapter with
the mark on the camera body.
The adapter may also be removed either from the body or the lens first. To remove the adapter,
press down the LOCK button and rotate the lens.
*It is recommended to use the adapter under Manual Mode. Aperture Priority Mode may also be
used (if Manual Exposure Mode is available).
*Focus is adjusted manually.
Different types of camera body or photometry (spot, partial, etc.) may cause incorrect exposure. In
this case, using exposure meter is recommended to achieve correct exposure.
Warnings
When attaching the adapter to the camera body, make sure it is locked in correctly (superimposing
the red dots). If it is not attached correctly, the lens may fall off.
When Taking Photographs
Use focal plane shutters, wherein just controlling aperture is necessary. If using lens
shutters, do not use the shutter on the lens.
On common DSLR camera body, exposure meter will not work even in Aperture Priority A
Mode. In this case, control exposure manually or use special exposure meter.
Cautions
Avoid using the adapter at height and avoid places where people are underneath.
When attaching/removing the adapter, be careful so that the sharp corner of the LOCK does
not scratch the mount.
Avoid using excessive pressure to rotate the lens body, the rangefinder ring, or the aperture
ring. Please be aware that applying excessive pressure on the lens and the body can cause
damages to the adapter, the lens, and/or the body.
Do not use the adapter if a teleconverter or a close-up lens is already attached to the camera
body.
