The Machine
All RTI machines operate using the very best steel, wheels, lights, switches, solenoids,
compressors, and other high tech ultra-reliable components. The TC670E and TC670V
follow this tradition at a lower price. With the TC670 series, RTI has reduced the size of the
cabinet and optimized the design in order to reduce costs. Every aspect of the TC670’s
design and construction is geared toward providing a reliable, no frills, high value machine.
Just as a car without all the options doesn’t need power windows to get from point A to B,
the TC670 doesn’t need the extra options to get the job done.
With the TC670 series, RTI has designed a machine with the components necessary for
fast and accurate A/C service: large pressure-protected compressor, fan-cooled condenser,
heated charging cylinder, rapid air purge system (no waiting), pressure switches and
regulators, and other beneficial items. With a TC670, you get a whole machine,

The TC2670V and TC2670E are the most affordable “complete” Dual Refrigerant
Management Centers in the world. These models contain all the components necessary for
fast and accurate A/C service. Large fan-cooled condensers speed recovery; pressure
switches allow unattended recovery/recycling; rapid air purge eliminates waiting; and steel
heated charging cylinders charge vehicles quickly and completely with never a need to start
the car. Dual circuits allow hook up to two cars at once, recovering or charging one car,
while testing another.
Operation is virtually identical to the TC670 models, machines considered the best value
single refrigerant units. Just switch to Recover/Recycle and walk away. The TC2670 models
automatically remove all refrigerant from the vehicle’s system by detecting pressure and
restarting the compressor as necessary—no assistance needed! Charging is just as easy.
Turn the machine to charge and the internal cylinder fills the A/C system to capacity in one
step with the vehicle off—usually in less than a minute! It’s that easy!
The TC2670 series is perfect for shops looking for a capable machine with a fast return on
investment. Most high volume shops are sometimes best served by two high performance
single refrigerant machines. These shops should be capable of servicing two or three cars at
once in distant bays. Dual machines do not allow this type of flexibility, but are ideal for shops
that rarely have two cars needing A/C service at one time. If you are looking to be in the busi-

The TX200 is a highly mobile recovery-only unit that is fast, durable, and easy to use.
It is designed for fast operation even at high ambient temperatures. Its light weight (under
20 lbs.) and small size makes it the perfect unit for fleet maintenance, wrecking yards, and
off-site refrigerant recovery. Also, it is an excellent backup unit. It keeps the shop in the A/C
business by recovering refrigerant from vehicles for later recycling.
The TX200 was originally developed as a “recovery-only” machine designed for HVAC
roof-top service. It is approved by EPA under Sections 608 and 609 and ARI Rated for R12.
It is also perfect for dealing with contaminated refrigerant. Using the same compressor and
condenser as the RTI high performance line of machines, you know it is fast!

The TX600 uses RTI’s patented single-pass refrigerant processing system, GAS FLOW III.
Because of GAS FLOW III’s advanced characteristics, we were able to put everything in a
very compact enclosure, saving weight and cost, yet maintaining the high level of quality
associated with an RTI.
The TX600’s small size and heavy-duty wheels make it very portable and easy to store.
We used the same durable 3/8 HP compressor and most of the same heavy-duty, long life
components used in our more expensive machines. Filter life is 25–50 hours, or about
300–700 pounds of refrigerant processed. The TX600 uses RTI’s Rapid Air Purge, which
requires no waiting time.
Operation of the TX600 is extremely simple. During recovery, the refrigerant is cleaned
and recycled in a completely automatic single pass and deposited in the 30 lb. DOT tank.
Charging can be done with a conventional electronic weight scale or heated charging
cylinder. We even designed the TX600 so that a Deep Vacuum Pump can be stored on
top of the machine. The TX600 is ideal for small automotive shops and for truck or bus
A/C service. It is approved by EPA for R12 and R134a automotive use. Suitable for non-
automotive refrigerants as well.

The special epoxy-coated forged jaws are designed to fit securely around the spring and protect
the spring from damage. The built-in safety lip prevents slipping. Two pairs of easy fitting jaws are
standard accessories, covering spring diameters of 80–200 mm (3.1–7.8 inches). The jaws are
locked onto the compressor body with the included screws that must be mounted on the tool for
operation. A standard heavy-duty wrench allows rapid jaw interchange. A built-in shear pin
prevents overload.
The unit is rated for 2000 pounds and can be used “on-the-car” or “off-the-car.” It is highly
portable and can be operated with an air wrench. The SC-15FP is identical to the SC-10FP except it
