Early-retirement option in unemployment insurance introduced 1972, guaranteeing income for

unemployed aged 60 and over. In 1974 agricultural workers were included by the scheme. Also

introduction of a special supplementary compensation for those unemployed (also agricultural

workers) for economic reasons ASA (allocation supplementaire d’attente).
