FISCAL YEAR 2010 ANNUAL REPORT
HAVE YOU ENTERED TO WIN $1,000 IN TOLLS?
November marked the start of The Toll Roads’ new giveaway program that will credit $1,000 in tolls
to one lucky registered FasTrak® account each month.
Trips began being tracked on Nov. 1 and, after the end of the month, entries will be compiled
and one winner will be selected. The first winner is expected to be announced in mid-December.
Monthly drawings will take place until the promotion ends on June 30, 2011. That’s $8,000 in tolls
to be awarded!
TCA FasTrak accountholders must register their account at TheTollRoads.com/1000 only once to
be automatically entered to win every time they drive the 73, 133, 241 or 261 Toll Roads. The more
they drive, the more times their account number is entered into the drawing. More than 40,000
customers have already registered their accounts.
Don’t already have a FasTrak account? Open one at TheTollRoads.com. FasTrak drivers save money
at every pay point on The Toll Roads, approximately $.25 to $.75 compared to the cash toll.
TOLL ATTENDANTS & CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM HONORED
A group of outstanding toll attendants and customer service representatives were selected and
honored for their commitment to providing excellent customer service to users of The Toll Roads.
Toll attendants on the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads collect approximately $25 million per year
and process nearly 11 million vehicles through the toll plazas. More than that, they are important
ambassadors for our agencies.
Customer service representatives field nearly 700,000 calls, respond to 100,000 written inquiries
and issue and receive more than 200,000 transponders annually. They ensure that we consistently
meet the high standards that our patrons expect and deserve.
Honorees from the 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads were (top photo, left to right) Warren Rudolph,
Rodney Folmer, Jorge Monterrojas and Sharyce Gonzalez with Foothill/Eastern Agency Board
Chairman Peter Herzog. Honorees from the 73 Toll Road were (bottom photo, left to right) Lorena
Smith, Elsy Calderon, Geneva Seagraves and Lap Vi with San Joaquin Hills Agency Board
Chairman Bert Hack.
TOLL ROAD DRIVERS FEED THE HUNGRY
The Toll Roads’ 2010 Annual Holiday Drive, held November 1 through 22, was
one of its most successful to date. More than 1,000 non-perishable food items
were collected for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County, which serves
450 member charities across the county and feeds nearly 220,000 individuals per
month. Donations benefit children, the disabled, the homeless, those experiencing
hru N medical emergencies and the unemployed.
Donations were accepted at the Irvine and San Clemente service centers and
mainline toll plaza cash-payment lanes.
