TURKEY DONATION
Lewiston, ME - The Salvation Army of Lewiston/Auburn recently received 60
turkeys from Electricity Maine. During the Thanksgiving and Christmas season,
more than 60 food baskets will be distributed to families in need.
“The need becomes greater each year” states Lt. Jason Brake. “ With the support
of local businesses and individuals we are able to provide basic food and supplies
to those who need it most in our community. There are many volunteer
opportunities that include filling food baskets, serving Thanksgiving Dinner,
stocking the food pantry, manning the Kettle during the Christmas season and so
much more.”
