Winter wonderland – teachers and Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer - boys On the first day of Christmas
students my true love sent to me
Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
Sleigh-bells ring, are you lis - t’nin? And an emu up a gum tree
Had a very shiny nose,
In the lane snow is glis - t’nin, Two pink galahs
And if you ever saw it,
Three kookaburras,
A beautiful sight, we’re happy tonight.
You would even say it glows,
Four koalas cuddling,
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland!
All of the other reindeer
Five kangaroos,
Gone away is the blue bird,
Used to laugh and call him names. Six brolgas dancing,
Here to stay is a new bird.
They never let poor Rudolph Seven possums playing,
He is singing a song as we go along.
Join in any reindeer games. Eight dingoes digging,
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland!
Then one foggy Christmas eve, Nine wombats working,
In the meadow we can build a snow man,
Santa came to say, Ten lizards leaping,
And pretend that he’s a circus clown.
“Rudolph, with your nose so bright, Eleven numbats nagging,
We’ll have lots of fun with mister snow
Won’t you guide my sleigh tonight?” Twelve parrots prattling
man
Until the other kids knock im down! Then how the reindeer loved him
As they shouted out with glee:
When it snows, ain’t it thrillin’?
Tho’ your nose gets a chill in. “Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer,
You’ll go down in history!”
We’ll frolic and play the eskimo way.
Walkin’ in a winter wonderland!
