The Tides was designed by Loewenberg Architects and
developed by Magellan Development and was the second
luxury rental tower completed at the Lakeshore East de-
velopment, Chicago, USA. The 51-storey tower is located
at 360 East South Water Street, East of the Chicago
Loop.[1] The building was given an aquatic-themed name
like the rest of the Lakeshore East developments, This
theme is inspired by the surrounding Chicago River and
Lake Michigan. The building is home to the private Shore
General information Club, which continues the nautical theme.
