Good evening everyone. I’m Alex and tonight I’m up here trying to convince you to vote for me as Class President. So far, students have told me that in order to convince them to vote I need to a) do their laundry or b) give them money. Although I may resort to these suggestions closer to election day, for right now I’m just going to be honest, and for your sake, brief. In high school I was class president for four years. I want to work hard, use creativity, and most importantly, meet more members of our class and represent their ideas. I want to be approachable; not the leader of our class but a leader among our class. Thank you for your time and attention, and although I can’t do your laundry for a vote, I can help you by giving you a dryer sheet. So hopefully, Sunday night when you’re doing your laundry, you’ll remember to vote for me.
