          c. Promotion of efficient irrigation devices

                     o   Improved surface irrigation (through
                         sprinkler set in wheat)
                     o   Low cost irrigation system (Bucket/Tank drip

          d. Best bet technologies options (improved packages)
                     o Kharif: maize, groundnut, pigeonpea and
                         black gram
                     o Rabi: wheat, chickpea and safflower
3.   Activity 3: Income Generation Activities through SHG I
     KVS (Executed through revolving fund)

4.   Activity 4: Strategic research

        •   Participatory biodiversity assessment in existing 2 villages

        •   Improvement of local varieties of Ber with
            commercial varieties (Umarn, Gola and Apple) with
            500 plants

5.   Activity 5: Increasing forage production

        •   Cultivation of sorghum & Barseem                     40 families
        •   Value addition of straw by urea treatment            30 families

6.   Activity 6: Increasing animal productivity and goat breed
     improvement

        •   Cattle development center
        •   Strengthening of artificial insemination center      1 center

      revolving fund)
14.   Activity 14: Develop training materials, eg, Earthen pot,
      Intercrop, Varietals, INM, IPM, Vermicomposting, Breed
      improvement, Water born disease, Seed bank, Income
      generation activates, Efficient Irrigation system

      of existing in situ soil and water conservation practices
