Directly serve over 100,000 students in the
academic year 2006-07 with programs and
courses aimed at financial literacy,
entrepreneurship and global marketplace.

JA partners local business and civic organizations with area
school systems.
Volunteers from these organizations teach courses in
economics, personal finance, and business ethics in grades K-12.
Volunteers also serve as role models and mentors for students,
sharing their work and professional experiences, showing them
the “real” economics of life.

students who will gain practical experience and insights into the
complexities of business by organizing and operating companies.
Volunteer consultants from local businesses assist students with
management consulting.
