Our apartments are on the Sunrise Beach Club complex at Bogas, Famagusta.
Famagusta, the historic fortified, port town is just 6 miles to the south. Well worth a visit for
sightseeing, St Nicholas’s Cathedral & the 12-century Othello’s Tower. The Roman city of
Salamis; which actually dates back to BC times and St Barnabas Monastery with its famous
‘room of icons’ is close by.
Sunrise beach Club has everything to offer for a relaxing, peaceful holiday. Bogas is the ideal
position for you to explore the Karpaz region with its miles of sandy sun-kissed beaches, quaint
little villages and totally unspoilt countryside!
Bogas itself has many little taverns & restaurants (do try the mezes & fish!), and a newly opened
supermarket where you can purchase all your holiday provisions. Water sports, diving, yachting
& fishing trips are all on offer during the season.

Accommodation
The apartments are modern, stylish, have open plan living room areas with fully fitted kitchens.
(Fridge freezer split-level cooker with chimney extractor hoods, microwave, dishwasher &
washing machine, kettle, toaster, iron, Hoover). Cooking utensils, china, cutlery etc is supplied
for the numbers of guests provided for within the apartment. Each apartment has its own balcony
with sea, swimming pool or mountain views and furnished to our own personal high standard.
All apartments have fitted wardrobes in the bedrooms and full air conditioning. 9 BTU’s in the
bedrooms and 24 BTU’s in the living room. All windows are double-glazed. Bed linen & towels
are provided for the apartments, but please bring your own towels for the beach and swimming
pool.
There is a radio, CD player in the living room.
A Welcome pack will be in your apartment on your arrival.

The swimming pools are set within the complex, (cleaned daily), surrounded by well-kept
gardens.
The sandy beach is just a few meters away with stunning views to the southern side of Cyprus.
There are many fabulous beaches around the Bogas & Karpaz areas; you will easily find a beach
to yourself!
Children’s pool & playground
24 Hours Security staff with onsite management office. They offer a selection of sightseeing
tours, can arrange taxis etc. You can arrange to have your apartment cleaned on a daily basis for
an extra charge payable directly to the office.

Climate
Cyprus enjoys a typical Mediterranean climate. Summers, mid May to early October are hot &
dry. The hottest months are July & August, when temperatures can reach 35 degrees C. Spring &
Autumn are warm & pleasant, with the coldest months being January & February. The average
annual temperature is 20 degrees C. It rains between November & March, with the heaviest rains
in January & February.

We do not make any extra charges for Public Holidays, Easter, Christmas etc.
Booking
A deposit £25.00 per person per week is required to secure your reservation. The balance is
payable not less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival. Receipts of your deposit will be
acknowledged by email/post. We are sorry but we do not accept pets or children under the age of
5 years, unless by special arrangement. All apartments are for NON-smoking guests.
Refundable Bond
A refundable bond of £200.00 is required against breakages/damages to the apartment. It is due to
be paid with the balance of payment 8 weeks prior to your arrival at SBC. It will be returned to
you one week after your departure from SBC after a check out report. In the event of
cancellation, it will be refunded in full with any time lag. A full inventory will be in the
apartment on your arrival for you to check.

All facilities within the apartment and complex are used at guests’ own risk
How to get there
Airline access to Northern Cyprus is via Ercan airport. Cyprus Turkish Airlines www.kthy.com,
Turkish Airlines www.thy.com, Atlas Jet www.north-cyprus.com or Easyjet www.easyjet.com to
Istanbul and then Pegasus Airlines www.flypgs.com. Night flights are cheaper than daytime
flights. It is approx a 40-minute drive to Sunrise Beach Club. Taxi transfers can be arranged to
meet you (small extra charge) or, alternatively a hire car can be arranged to meet you with no
transfer charge.

On arrival at Immigration at Ercan, pick up and complete the small white visa form on thye
Officer’s desk. The Immigration Officer will then stamp this form and not your passport. Keep
the form you will need it when you exit the country.
It is now possible to fly into Larnaca airport in Southern Cyprus & travel to Bogas by taxi, which
we can arrange for you. The charge is approx £40.00 for a taxi or if reserve a hire car with the
same company £30.00.
