Please use complete sentences and legible handwriting in your journals. These are

fun to read if you put quality time into them. Please answer questions thoroughly

and provide examples. Write at least a paragraph each day.

Friday: What did you do to prepare for your baby’s arrival? What experience have

you had with infants that will help you with this project? Describe your feelings

toward this project right now (at least one positive).

Saturday: How have your plans for the weekend changed to meet the needs of your

child? How does it feel to have this responsibility?

Sunday: What are three challenges you’ve had to face this weekend with your

baby? How is your family responding to you and your baby (pets/siblings/parents)?

When you’re out in public, do people treat you differently?

Monday: How has your school/homework schedule changed to meet the needs of

your baby? How are you adjusting to the needs of your baby and your

responsibilities as its guardian?

Tuesday: How did it feel to see other students with their babies? Did you do

anything to help out other “parents”? Did you receive any help? How do you think

you are treating the responsibility compared to other students?

Wednesday: How has your life changed with the responsibility of an infant? What

do you want to accomplish in life before/if you have real child of your own? What

steps are you taking towards those goals now? What might you be doing now that is

getting in the way of those goals?

Thursday: This is you last day/evening with your baby. How do you feel about

giving it away tomorrow? How has your opinion of this project changed since the

project began last Friday? Do you wish you had done anything differently? What do
