NOTICE OF ELECTION
(AVISO DE ELECCIÓN)
To the registered voters of the County of McLennan, Texas:

Notice is hereby given that the polling places listed below will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on
November 3, 2009 for voting in a General Election
to adopt or reject the proposed Constitutional Amendments as submitted by the 81st Legislature,
Regular Session, of the State of Texas
for voting in a Local Option Election for the City of Hewitt to vote for/against “the legal sale of beer
and wine for off-premise consumption only” and “the legal sale of mixed beverages in restaurants by
food and beverage certificate holders only”
for voting in a City of Hewitt Bond Election to vote for/against Proposition No. 1 the issuance of
$8,130,000 Tax Bonds for a Public Safety Facility for the Police and Fire Departments and the levying
of the tax in payment thereof; and Proposition No. 2 for the issuance of $500,000 Tax Bonds for
Municipal Park Improvements and the levying of the tax in payment thereof; and Proposition No. 3 for
the issuance of $1,250,000 Tax Bonds to Acquire Land for a Municipal Complex and the levying of
the tax in payment thereof
for voting in a La Vega ISD Bond Election to vote for/against Proposition No. 1 the issuance of Bonds
in the amount of $24,420,000 for the construction, renovation, acquisition and equipment of school
buildings, including the construction and equipping of a new Intermediate School and renovations and
improvements at the High School and the levying of the tax in payment thereof
The execution of Joint Election Agreements with the City of Hewitt and La Vega Independent School District is
hereby authorized and approved.

mañana hasta las 7 de la tarde del 3 de noviembre de 2009 para la votación en una elección general
para adoptar o rechazar la enmindas propuestas constitucional asi como fueron sometidas por la 81a
Legislatura Sesion Regular, de la Estado de Texas
para en la votación en una elección de opción local del ciudad de Hewitt para votar a favor/en contra
“la venta legal de cerveza y vino para consumo solamente fuera del establecimiento” y “ la venta legal
de bebidas alcoholicas mezcladas (cocteles) en restaurantes solo por los poseedores de un certificado
de comidas y bebidas”
para en la votación en una elección de bonos del ciudad de hewitt para votar a favor/en contra
proposición nro. 1 La emisión de $8,130,000 en bonos de impuestos para una instalación de seguridad
pública para el departamento de policía y de bomberos y la recaudación de los impuestos para el pago
de esto y Proposición Nro. 2 La emisión de $500,000 en bonos de impuestos para mejoras de los
parques municipales y la recaudación de los impuestos para el pago de esto y Proposición Nro. 3 La
emisión de $1,250,000 en bonos de impuestos para la adquisición del terreno para un complejo
municipal y la recaudación de los impuestos para el pago de esto
para en la votación en una elección de Bonos del La Vega ISD para votar a favor/en contra
Proposición Nro. 1 La emisión de bonos en la cantidad de $24,420,000 para la construcción,
renovación, adquisición y equipamiento de edificios escolares, incluyendo la construcción y el
equipamiento de una nueva escuela secundaria y renovaciones y mejoras a la escuela preparatoria, y la
recaudación de los impuestos para el pago de esto
La ejecución de los acuerdos común de la elección con el ciudad de Hewitt y La Vega del Distrito Escolar
Independiente se autoriza y se aprueba por este medio.)
