POLLS OPEN: 7:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.
Friday, August 21, 2009 Deadline for party officials to submit Certificates of
Nominations of Candidates. 4:30 p.m.
Monday, August 24, 2009 Absentee Ballots will be available to be mailed and
voted in the office of the Department of Elections.
Saturday, August 29, 2009 Department of Elections Office open for voting an
Absentee Ballot in person and Voter Registration
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 pm
Wednesday, September 2, 2009 Registration Deadline for unregistered voters to be
Eligible to vote in the Special Election.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, September 5, 2009 Department of Elections Office open for voting an
Absentee Ballot in person.
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 8, 2009 Last day the Department of Elections is permitted to
Mail Absentee Ballots for the Special Election
Voted Ballots returned by mail or hand delivered the
day of the election will be accepted until 8:00 p.m.
Friday, September 11, 2009 12 Noon, Deadline to vote Absentee Ballot in person
In the Office of the Department of Elections.
