God of War: Origins Collection (set)
I love the god of war with a passion in the same way as a movie buff
loves the work of Ingmar Bergman / Alfred Hitchcock / Stanley Kubrick /
Andrei Tarkovsky. In fact, it is easy for all my playing time series
favorite. Artistic director, plot, characters, emotions, and the game are
among the cream of the crop. It is a force to be reckoned in the game,
and it's no secret that all games have management systems Sony God of War
on it. Highlights from the library of PSP games were definitely two of
the God of war games, so naturally I was very excited when I heard the
two GoW games are being ported to the PS3. I played two games in the PSP
before, but from my PSP died aging me, I was discouraged I definitely
would not play God of War PSP game two. Do not worry, two PSP games are
available on the PS3, and are better than ever.
First, the games themselves. What exactly is that these two new games
God's offer to revive the war? Worth the trip? The short answer is YES!
(OK, it's pretty obvious, but read anyway). (Minor spoilers below).
Both games have their own plots of origin, a prequel Coo whole series,
and the Ghost of Sparta is set after the second match. Both stories are
well written and perform completely new elements and sub-texts, filling
the story again many character development, especially Kratos. In
particular, Ghost of Sparta did an incredible job to give the tone for
the rest of the series. Family members reappeared Kratos, and the
suffering and negativity about that is caused by the gods, who really
give a good understanding of the past ten years, pain in the service of
the gods. That does not explain why Kratos was on a rampage early death
in the second game (actually it's because it was delivered, in the game,
playing God in the cell phone of War: Betrayal), but actually focuses on
the suffering of Kratos and innermost feelings really show why it is so
annoying. Chains of Olympus is a prequel excellent as well, pointing to
the endless pursuit of serving the gods. In the end, everything comes to
a conclusion that would ultimately fatal to travel more difficult in the
history of video games (at least by Kratos). In particular, the
revelation at the end of the game is currently bulb if you always
wondered why Kratos made the ultimate sacrifice at the end of the series.
GoW games are basically the same formula, as does the fight, solve
puzzles, perform quick time events, and collecting red orbs to level up
and acquire new skills. Action based on the same combo-tended, the fight
is here, and it works as great as before. You always have access to
magical weapons and impressive, including my new favorite weapon, the arm
of Sparta. You will be able to combine and use a single combat with
spears, a heavy shield. In fact, both games are some of my favorites of
magic and weapons. I also like the Djinn, which lets you call a genius
book-burning fire on the ground, and the Horn of Boreas lets you use the
name of love, with the ability to freeze enemies in a whirlwind of ice
and wind . However, let you discover all the new capabilities of self.
The controls also actually improved slightly thanks to the PS3
controller. Adding Rumble is a nice feature, and additional buttons on
the DualShock 3 is to provide for the control and (stock with the analog
stick, for example), since the PSP has not had so many buttons.
Especially those who love the series of games for this level of awesome
design, great stories, great literature, the emotional capacity, and the
GoW art will love these games. None of the parties feel rejected, it
remains fresh in the performance of their world. Exploration of the
monumental temple of Helios, the exploration of the pit of Tartarus
profound, be present at the capture of the city of Attica, and watch the
world fall of a stone pillar, j have always played these games know
exactly why the treatment of this set of fans of the series of forms of
fantasy The Lord of the Rings. You will not regret these games, they will
gain more insight into the understanding of the unique myth GoW
characters further, and the God of War universe itself. After all, one of
the main reasons for playing these games is that you like the art of the
game, and all the games here would be absolutely indispensable to the
series for me. They are so important to the series.
As you all wanted to know if, God of War Collection, and a wider audience
the opportunity is known to play these two games, for their "remastered
graphics." The team responsible for previous collection did a great job
with the remastering of the video of the first collection since it was
one of the main points of the first collection. For those of you who are
not familiar with the process, the HD remastering adds a better texture,
accelerating the frame rate to 60 fps constant, and clean the rough edges
and textures of poor quality of many PS2 games. In fact, clean and makes
them look more dynamic enough, they can defend against today's visual
effects. Despite these PSP games clearly show some shortcomings due to
the fact that the graphics are PSP games that always seem excellent. In
particular, I personally think Ghost of Sparta looks great. Ready at Dawn
excellent graphics technique used, and is honestly the second game GoW
better future with the third with the lead. The colors are amazing, the
textures and liquid particles seems clean and ultra-dense, and the
scenery is beautiful and soft. Chains of Olympus is a bit crude, but
still looks very good and most hits have been cleaned.
Perhaps the best upgrade, however, is the HD experience. This can be a
selling point for those who are still able to play their PSP. While there
are many possibility to connect your PSP to your PS3, the picture is not
very nice, and certainly not as easy and you can spend the same amount of
money to do so. However, with this collection, crisp high definition,
shock, visceral, earth-shaking sound design, to work together and can
really floor of your home theater system and your own experience God's
Guerra. This mentality is what the media / art game players LIVES FOR!
Moreover, these games SCREAM epic treatment. You do not play GoW in a
small portable laptop that only has a 4.3 inch screen. You play with a
TV, home theater system. With the amazing sound design, larger than life
and stunning visual effects, these are the types of games you buy a home
theater system. Thanks to this collection, you can finally bring the PSP
to the area is well known.
Besides this, God of War Origins also has a more noble story of people
who really love this thing (nothing wrong with that): 3-D. Okay, okay, I
admit. I have not had time to consult the person in 3-D first. I have no
3-D TV and I agree with the likes of Roger Ebert as 3-D is largely
useless and a complete gimmick. However, I can understand why people like
the effects, and what I heard, the 3-D works great and really helps
increase the effects of many such as fog and other documents. But
certainly I hear that in fact that does not undermine in any way to buy
this, as in 3-D or not, should not disappoint. If you like, great. If
not, is also great. This is not a make or break the decision on the
purchase of the collection, as the main feature here are the games
themselves.
As bonds go, you can also unlock trophies. watch documentaries, and spend
some time with the DLC. I have not found the advantage of being a "must-
buy factor", the games include, but are fun and interesting. The DLC is
certainly interesting and fun, and most GoW fans will surely find
something useful and worth it. The Forgotten Forest is a challenge
similar to the sand again before, and you get all the objectives to be
resolved in the vein of Super Smash Brother challenges, like most
challenges. Legionnaire Kratos is basically a game where you play a
Spartan soldier Now, with an impressive helmet.
The roundtable is the video where the five creators of the series all
meet and discuss the franchise together. You can also get the trophies,
most of which are bragging rights and virtually to compare each other
skills. Well, skills predetermined by the software company, but good.
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the achievements of the trophies (I seem
trivial and never out of my way to reach them, I just do not get), but
some people like them and they are not too difficult to unlock, as they
are received for activities such as winning the game in higher difficulty
levels, using the elements of a given amount of time, or the realization
of the / complete / come to some spots.
Easily give five stars for what it is like all of God of War fans who
have not played any games here are mistaken if they do not. The games
here are essential for the series, and if you have these games, then you
should buy this collection as soon as possible. It is true that if you
have the PSP version, the value of this collection can not be so obvious
(although I do not sorry, because you can play these games on a home
theater system impressive PSP). For everyone else, going to spend your
hard earned money very well. I can not think of a God of war game not
worth playing, and this collection is as essential as God Of War 3 is.
The games are in many ways more intimate, more personal and emotionally
satisfying, especially Ghost of Sparta, which has one of the best lines
in the history of the game series. Actually, I'm running out of things to
say here, just get it, and will not disappoint
