  of the procedure for the issue of the Annual Performance Test Certificate and is related to the
  SAFETY CERTIFICATE for this vessel which is now due for revalidation on:

  13. Manufacturers Analysis
  This performance test was conducted in accordance with SOLAS regulation V/18.8 and forms
  part of the procedure for the issue of the Annual Performance Test Certificate.

  The results, information and any comments should be relayed to the manufacturer in accordance
  with the instructions contained within the Operation Manual.

  AMI Marine (UK) will complete a review, record any changes and issue the completed test report
  and the Annual Certificate within 45 days. To accommodate performance checks to align with
  the appropriate survey under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification (HSSC), the
  annual performance check may be carried out up to 3 months before the due date for a
  passenger ship and -/+ 3 months of the due date for a cargo ship.


  The Authorised Engineer conducting the Annual Performance Test is to ensure the following
  items are forwarded to AMI Marine (UK) for analysis.

                     Declaration of Conformity
This is to certify that the AMI VR2272B – Voyage Data Recorder System (VDR)
(COMMISSION DIRECTIVE 2002/75/EC-ITEM A.1/4.29) has been assessed, tested
and CERTIFIED as complying with the relevant parts of:

 BS EN 61996-1: 2008, “Shipborne Voyage Data Recorder (VDR)”
 BS EN 61996-2: 2006 Part 2, “Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (SVDR)”
 BS EN 60945: 2002, “General Requirements for Marine Navigation Equipment”

The VR2272B equipment conforms to the performance standards adopted by the
International Maritime Organisation, which are contained in Resolution A861 (20),
Resolution A694 (17) and MSC.163 (78) as amended by MSC.214 (81).

All Interfaces manufactured by AMI Marine (UK) have been tested and CERTIFIED as
complying with the relevant parts of:

 BS EN 61162-1 2000, “NMEA Digital Interfaces”
 BS EN 60945: 2002, “General Requirements for Marine Navigation Equipment”

All Interfaces are OPTO Isolated and will not interfere with the Ship Equipments.

The AMI VR2272B Voyage Data Recorder (VDR) has been issued by QINETIQ with the
MED Type Approval Certificate number QQ-MED-05/06-2R3

The AMI VR2272B Simplified Voyage Data Recorder (S-VDR) has been issued by
QINETIQ with the MED Type Approval Certificate number and QQ-MED-05/06-03R
