           By Calvin Chen
           Technical Director
                   System Overview
 The Calypso 4E will replace our Calypso 4

 The Calypso 4 system is based on the Intel 845GV chipset
with onboard Intel Extreme Graphics video, audio, and Intel
  10/100Mbps LAN

 The Calypso 4E will support both the 400 and 533MHz front
  side bus
                         Target Market
 The target market of the Calypso 4E is the education, business, or
corporate segment that requires a small and compact P4 or Celeron

 This unit is ideal for a classroom environment, where there is a limited
   amount of table space

 The Calypso 4E is also well-suited as a point of sales (POS) system,
because of its small size and dual serial ports

 It is also perfect for the corporate segment, where end users require a
fast system and yet must fit in their limited cubicle or office space

 Since the Calypso 4E is powered by DDR266 memory and P4 capable,
it is the ideal high performance compact system

       Intel Extreme Graphics Video Notes
 The onboard Intel Extreme Graphics video uses Dynamic
Video Memory Technology (DVMT) to ensures the most
efficient use of system memory, allowing up to 64MB of
system memory to be shared among OS, applications, and
  graphics display
 DVMT will reserve 8MB from the total system memory to be
used as the video buffer; so if your total system memory is
128MB, it will be reduced to 120MB
 The DVMT mitigates the need for dedicated, stand-alone
memory for graphics, and ensures the most efficient system
memory usage for optimal graphics and system performance
 Dependent on monitor/LCD, the Calypso 4E will support a
  maximum resolution of 1600x1200x16M colors @ 85Hz
 Launch date is Thu 02/06/2003

 Siebel model name is “D – Premio Calypso 4 Series”
