If you aren't familiar with Craigslist by now you need to come out from underneath that rock.
Craigslist is the number one classifieds web site world wide. You can sell and buy practically
anything on this site. Initially the site was developed for local exchanges but has now expanded
significantly.
So what does this mean for you and your business? It means that you can get your message
distributed and found by searchers on Craigslist very quickly. You can even pick which state or
area of the world you would like to target. For example you can place an ad for your business and
target people in San Franciso, CA. Or you can post an ad and target people in the Philippines. It is
completely up to you.
The Steps
1. If you don't already have an account go sign up for one. It is fast and easy. You will be asked to
verify your email address.
2. Determine which area you would like to target.
3. Figure out your target audience (i.e. business owners, buyers, partners, etc.)
4. Write your ad. This is the important part. You can write a full blown ad, post a video or leave a
link for your inquiries to follow. Determine which method is best for you. Include what it is your

5. Be consistent. Write and place ads regularly. People check Craigslist on a daily and weekly
basis so it is important that you constantly have your ads circulating.
6. Do not spam. Post legitimate ads with real products, services or businesses behind them.

7. Ensure your inquiries are real people. Don't be fooled by scammers. Craigslist has locked down

keywords attract your specific target market. Take your time and have fun with it. Like most free
