Arithmetic Sequences
 A Sequence is an ordered list of
numbers.

 Each number in a sequence is called
a term. Each term in a sequence has
a position.
Position   1   2   3    4    5   6    7
Term       4   9   14   19
 In Arithmetic Sequence, each term is found
by adding the same number to the previous
term. This is the relationship between
consecutive terms.

 Examples (from textbook pg 60-61)
 Instructions: Describe the relationship
between the terms in each arithmetic
sequence. Then write the next three (3)
terms.

Geometric Sequence
 In Geometric Sequence, each term is
found by multiplying the previous term by
