When Performing A Market Leader Custom Text Search Using "All Of
The Above.", Why Doesn't The Search Pull Up Certain Reports
"All of the Above" will only pull up reports that have one or more contacts attached to the report.
If a report does not have any contacts attached to it, the report will not show up in an "All of the
Above" text search. User reports will often display this problem since they may not have
contacts attached to them. The only way around it is to attach a contact, or to do a different kind
of search, not "All of the Above."
The following is a more detailed technical explanation.
When you use the All of the Above field, the resulting SQL statement joins several tables,
because of
the need to search the company name field. That is, the Dr, DrFirm and Firm tables are joined.
Therefore, since that user report didn't have any contacts associated with it, it could never be
found by
the SQL statement. If you searched any of the other text fields individually, e.g. project location,
it
would have worked. Go back, edit the report, put a contact on it, and then the search will work
