Employee of the Season - David Olsen
The newest member of the Blue Horizons staff is David Olsen. Although he is new to us, he is
not new to the travel industry. David came to us with a dual degree from Blue U. in Spanish and
South American History. After graduation, he spent five years as a tour guide in Colombia and
Venezuela and for the last seven years he has worked for one of the largest cruse lines in the
Caribbean.
A growing family and his love for a rural lifestyle prompted David's return to the northwest.
David and his wife Anne have three children: Joe (10), Tommy (7), and Cathy (5). In addition to
travel, this family of five enjoys outdoor activities, board games, and good food (Cathy
especially enjoys a good peanut butter and banana sandwich).
In the office, David specializes in Caribbean and South American tours. If you are interested in
