Position Description: Web Developer will develop code based on the needs of the sales and
marketing departments. Ideal candidate must be able to meet finite deadlines, manage multiple
projects, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Position reports to the
Director of Sales with cross-departmental interaction with other areas including research and
development, as well as marketing.
Responsibilities include:
• Handle the day to day needs of the sales and marketing departments.
• Write clean code to the specifications of the departments.
• Code both front-end and back-end applications. Back-end capabilities are a must.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Develop web pages from scratch, e-blasts to spec, and manage content.
• Communicate and interact with clients in a professional manner.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Strong PHP/MySql
• HTML5 (for future development)
• Strong CSS
• Javascript
• AJAX knowledge is very helpful
• Must be comfortable working with APIs
• BigCommerce shopping cart experience is a plus
• NetSuite and SalesForce experience is also a plus
• Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency is desired but not required
• iPhone™ and iPad™ app design is a major plus
