THE BLITZZ EUROPEAN SOCCER TOUR, 2012

Tentative Schedule (subject to change) Training in Reykjavik, Iceland, then on to

the world cup of youth soccer, the GOTHIA CUP, 2012, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

More than 1600 teams from over 70 nations participate. www.gothiacup.se

Benefits of joining the tour: As an established team, players will train and compete

internationally with future stars of the soccer world, make new friends, be exposed to

an Olympic –like atmosphere, and experience Europe as a player, as well as a tourist.

This is an excellent growing experience for teenagers in terms of their game and

personal growth.

Supervision: Iceland and Sweden are well known for being safe and the tournament

extremely well organized. In addition to the coaches and team chaperones, a local

representative will be on site and available on the trip to answer any questions in both

Iceland and Sweden.

Training: Prior to the trip, there will be several training sessions in early July in

Bozeman, MT ensuring a “tight team family” to compete in major tournaments.

Additional training and games will be held in Iceland as a final step towards the famed

Gothia Cup. Optimal physical condition is recommended to compete at this level as

the teams will play a minimum of four games while in Sweden.

Sightseeing and fun: Iceland and Sweden are awesome! Between competitions,

players will have ample opportunity to watch other teams compete as games are held

all day and into each evening. There are also castles, canal boat tours, open air

markets, city tours, shopping, and other sites to take in while in Gothenburg. A

“soccer player only” disco , subject to coaches discretion, are a main evening event for

In conclusion

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am very confident in

the hotels, destinations, and operators I have been working with. This itinerary is

prime and offered at a reasonable cost, even at peak travel time. Having been to these

destinations many times, and, in particular, the Gothia Cup, I believe it should most

definitely be experienced by any serious soccer player. You’re going to love it!

It’s going to be really fun, and a trip of a lifetime for the individual players. I sincerely

hope you consider the trip for this coming summer.
