With emerging concerns for environment and energy, it is natural for the automobile industry to produce earth-
conscious and fuel-efficient vehicles today. Pursuing functionality and efficiency is not enough, however: providing the
excitement and pure driving enjoyment offered by old-time cars will appeal to a younger generation that demands fun
and has turned its back on the automobile.

About 2000GT SEV
l Evolving legendary TOYOTA 2000GT
TOYOTA 2000GT is the first full-blown sports car in Japan, and only 337 vehicles were produced in the world.
Having appeared in the 007 film “You Only Live Twice” (1967) in the James Bond series, this sports car reminds us
of a joy of driving in the era when automobile was an icon.
l Introducing new technology with leaving its feature
Advanced bio-material, Alcanntara, makes the interior of 2000GT SEV feel a sense of luxury. And, the lacquer-
painted panels are coated with gold and silver. In addition, we reorganized meters to display speed, remaining
quantity of battery and so on with keeping original frames. Furthermore, new-developed rear-view mirror can be a
monitor which display image through camera attached to back of vehicle, or can be used as usual.
l Attaching “CRAZY” sound to silent EV
EV is generally silent, and we intentionally attached sound to 2000GT SEV. Not only engine sound, it also emits
“CRAZY” sounds like sound of a rocket, an aircraft, and a horse galloping.
CRAZY CAR PROJECT has launched fully at Tokyo Auto Salon, and continues to deliver an excitement of driving
to people of all age groups including younger generation.
