Brighten Bulletin

Brighten Bulletin Thank you for a wonderful beginning to our 2009-2010 school year. Our students are ready to learn, and they have helped turn our building into a true learning community. One of our school improvement goals is to increase and improve school wide communication. We hope to send a school wide bulletin every other Wednesday. This newsletter will provide basic school information. Each grade level will send home a newsletter every other week which will detail the curricular focus and pertinent information related to your child’s classroom. Personal information will be communicated via the classroom agenda or binder. Our school website is also a great source for information. We are working on activating all of our links. Please contact Jessica Davis at jdavis@brightenacademy.com for more information related to the school website. Our middle school team (grades 7 and 8) will also be posting assignments and information at http://teachersites.schoolworld.com/webpages/LRogers. Please also know that the administrative team will be happy to help you in any way. It can be very difficult to reach me via phone throughout the day, so I encourage you to use email. I check my email several times throughout the evening, and I will do my best to respond within 24 hours. It will take all of us working together to effectuate our mission, and I can tell that we are well on our way to success. Thanks again for an incredible beginning to a successful year.
