PRODUCT BULLETIN – LIQUION™ NAFION® Solutions
Description LIQUION™ solutions are dispersions of NAFION® resin in a mixture of water and alcohols. The solutions are available at a solids concentration of 5 or 15-weight %. In addition two equivalent weights of NAFION® are available in the LIQUION™ solutions. The solutions can be dried to form films and coatings of NAFION™ or mixed with other solids to form electrodes. 5-wt % LIQUION Typical Properties: Composition: NAFION™ 5-wt% Water: 20-wt% Isopropanol: 75-wt% Density: 0.86 grams/cm3 Available in 125ml, 500ml, and 1 Gallon quantities Drying/curing procedure: Solvent should be removed at 50 C for ½ hour, followed by a curing step at 100-120 C for 15 minutes.
