In-Print Ads
Advertisements within the print version of The Charger Bulletin can be inserted in either color or black
and white. If color space is unavailable, an agreement may be made for black and white advertising, or
online advertising, or for placement within an upcoming issue.
Advertisements are only placed into the issue which is billed and agreed upon unless an issue comes up
where a make good insertion is necessary.

Online Ads
Online advertisements are run as general placement advertisements, including between various articles
on the site. Another option is premium placement, which utilizes space on the homepage and highly
increases exposure.
Online advertisements are set to show up for at least a 7-day period unless a longer span is billed and
agreed upon. It is up to the discretion of the Editor-in-Chief of The Charger Bulletin to provide the ad for
an additional time period, free of charge, if student interest in the content of the advertisement is high.

Discounts
Advertisements which run in four issues or more will receive a 15% discount upon request.
Advertisements which run for the entire semester (13 issues) will receive a 25% discount upon request,
not in addition to 15% discount.
Advertisements which run for the entire academic year (26 issues) will receive a 30% discount upon
request, not in addition to 15% discount or 25% discount.
The following discounts CAN be combined with the offers mentioned above:
UNH alums will receive a 10% discount upon request.
Pre-paid advertisements to run for the entire semester will receive a 5% discount upon request.
Pre-paid advertisements to run for the entire academic year will receive a 10% discount upon
request.
Note: One issue of the print edition of The Charger Bulletin is equivalent to one week (7 days) of the online edition.
Advertising Details
Advertisements are due the Thursday prior to the date of publication, by 5:00pm. Deadline is strictly
enforced.
Advertising materials should be sent via email to ChargerBulletin@newhaven.edu or via postal mail on
a CD or DVD. Custom advertisements may be sent via fax to (203) 931-6037, but electronic materials are
preferred. All checks should be made payable to The Charger Bulletin.
The Charger Bulletin reserves the right to refuse any advertisement. Due to university sanctions, The
Charger Bulletin is unable to accept advertisements that contain references promoting the sale or
consumption of alcohol. The Charger Bulletin is also unable to accept advertisements from outside
university admissions offices and cannot advertise for any human research studies.
All discounts are applicable for both in-print and online advertisements.
All applicable discounts must be mentioned at time of ad agreement, or standard charges may apply.
