Family Day is Coming
th
May 16 will be Family Day at Elm & Hudson. This is a day we honor our
families and invite them to come and worship with us. Begin now to pray about
this and invite family members to come with you this day. We will have a potluck
lunch after morning services. Invite everyone to stay and share a meal with us.
At 1:00 p.m. we will have a devotional together. There will not be an assembly
at 6 p.m. Everyone is then invited to the lake shelter #1 for fellowship, hotdogs,
and fun. We will begin to gather at 4 p.m. and will serve hotdogs at 6:30. Some
may want to go play golf, and others may fish. Some will take their chairs and sit
and visit. The children may want to go ride the rides or paddle boats. Just come and
spend time with your family and “The Family”. This is a great time to invite a
friend as well.
If you come to the lake; bring cookies, snacks, drinks, and your chairs. Hotdogs,
buns, and fixings will be provided. Be sure and follow all park rules and we ask
that everyone pitch in to help clean up.
The lesson that day will focus on family. I pray that this will be the best Family
Day yet.

***A big thank you to our Caring Hearts group for the meal you brought to us. Thank you Tom
for coming to the hospital to visit and especially thank you Gary and Tracy for getting us to the
hospital and taking such good care of us. We love you all, Ted & Marie Kincannon
-WEDNESDAY EVENING MEALS-
The Helping Hands will prepare Baked Potato Bar, Salad, & Desserts this Wednesday.
Wednesday, April 28th
Will be our last Wednesday meal until the Fall.
Fried chicken, potato salad, & baked beans will be furnished
If you plan to eat please bring a dish &/or dessert
If you plan to eat with us please put the number in your family who will attend on the back
of the membership card Sunday morning so that we will know how much chicken to order.
-CARPENTER’S KITCHEN-
The Carpenter’s Kitchen will be this Saturday hosted by the Encouragers. There are flyers on
the tables if you know of locations they may be displayed.
-WEDDING SHOWER-
There will be a meeting this Wednesday evening following services for all ladies interested in
hosting a wedding shower for Randy Sadler and Amanda Stevens. If you wish to help and
cannot attend the meeting please let the church office know.
-SENIOR RECEPTION-
There will be a meeting Wednesday, April 28th, following services of all underclassmen’s
parents to plan the Senior Reception that will be held May 19 th. Please plan to attend this
meeting.
-DANIEL’S DOINGS-
***Sunday Night Devo will be held at Dustin and Ryanne Foret’s home.
***May, Sunday Night Live in Sayre. We will leave at 4:30 p.m.
-WEE WORSHIP-
WEE Worship is being held every Sunday evening for 15 minutes following evening
worship. This is a special time for our children ages birth to 12 years of age.
