Dientes Community Dental Care opened its doors in 1992 to create access to dental education, prevention, and

Twenty-three innocent men and women in Illinois were exonerated due to efforts of the Center on Wrongful
Convictions. Prior to the Center's founding in 1998, members of its staff were instrumental in 14 additional
exonerations - including that of Gary Dotson, who in 1989 became the first person in the world to be exonerated by
DNA.
The LaoTu School is a small elementary school in rural Zhejiang, China. The school has been the only elementary
school in Lao Tu for several decades and has an enrollment of approximately 300. The local dialect of the student
body is Wenzhounese, although the teachers teach in Mandarin almost exclusively; additionally, the alphabet and
rudimentary English is taught. The alphabet is taught mostly for learning "pinying," the system of pronunciation of
Mandarin Chinese using the Latin alphabet. The school does not have summer sessions and thus, the facilities go
unused during that time. The purpose of this internship is to teach English over the summer at the school; giving
these students an opportunity I never had.

 The fundamental objective for this elephant camp is to provide works for both elephants and their mahouts. After
the law of preserving the forest in order to protect the environment and natural resources, the logging was banned.
As a result, lots of elephants and mahouts were put out of their jobs.    By setting up this camp, they have a
chance to survive. Performing at the camp helps more than 60 elephants and mahouts.
