Examples of what counties are using for 4-H Member Certificates in Ohio
Mary Alice Shupp - Butler County I developed my own cert in PowerPoint. I used our fair book cover as a watermark but that could be changed to fit any county. My template required the margins for printing to be set at TOP 2.5 and LEFT 1.0 and the orientation is portrait in the Blue Ribbon. Feel free to use if you think anyone would benefit. If not it surely won't hurt my feelings.

Karen Miller - Highland County Last year I called publications and talked to them about the certificates. Here is the solution we came up with: I had a Certificate of Achievement left over from previous years. Each of the Educators signed on their respective lines. I then took the signed certificate to a local printer and asked them if they could print some for me, which they did. Again this is the solution that was determined after I talked to Janis Cripe from publications.
Linda Good - Miami County We updated the clovers on the original form (form 902L and 900L) by cut and paste and make copies on parchment paper. We run the certificate thru our
laser printer using the 4-H database and adjusting margins. It works fine.
Carla Wickham - Noble County
Here's a template I made up in Publisher. Just print or copy them ahead then you can run them back through your printer and the Blue Ribbon Program Certificate info will print in the blank spaces.

- Vinton County
I scanned a clean copy of the cert of ach. –that is at least better than the one online, not to mention straight. It is better than what you had. I’ll try to throw something together.
Marie Bouic - Union County
We use the full page green certificates that we order from the local print shop for our 4-H'ers. I'm not sure if any other counties use them or not. They cost $133.00 for 1000 plus shipping.
We use the actual certificate template that is on the program. Go to: Special Achievement Certificate Mark your settings Top Margin: 1.2 Left Margin: 2.4 We print by clubs on an 8 1/2 x 11 page with a green border and gold textured center. We order them from our local print shop. They come in packages of 500 and the last ones cost $133.00 for 1000 plus shipping. Then I run them through the risograph with the file above. Then our agent signs them and there is a spot for the advisor. Hope this will help someone.
Brenda Snyder – Logan County Here's a template in Publisher. Each member receives one certificate their first year and then they receive a clover to be placed near the year they just completed.
Matt Davis - Athens County
Hazel Young – Holmes County This is a way to print certain year certificates, so you didn't have to waste a lot of the certificates. Here goes.
In youth enrollment go to special, than Ohio - achievement certificates. Click on members and all than preview. Two members are displayed per page. I would scroll down that page to see if either of them are members I would want to print - such as 1st year, 5 year, 10 year member, etc. If it is than go into printer setup and select pages, than tell it to print pages 1 to 1. Than you need to select the print button and it will only print the pages selected from printer setup. Use the right arrow and go to the next page, if it is one you want to print than do a printer setup and do the same thing again. You will still be losing some certificates, but not quite as many, and, it will take more time doing it this way.
