                        Play-Doh Landform Lab Part Two
Materials
      1 Container of Play-Doh
      Thread
Procedure
Create the following landforms using your container of Play-Doh:
1 Plateau and 1 Mountain with the same piece of Play-Doh
Divide your landform into 8 sections by making a mark with your pencil at each division.
Use a piece of thread to horizontally slice the landform using the marks you made with your pencil.
Lay the pieces out on your desk making sure to keep the slices in sequence and oriented correctly.
Trace each slice individually on your lab paper starting with the bottom piece and work towards the top.
When you have finished tracing, label the contour lines every 40 feet. Remember, each contour interval
      represents 20 feet of elevation.
Label the top of the landform with its elevation

Landform 1 Topography
Put your landforms back together and slice the landform vertically.
Place the landform on the paper with the sliced side on the paper.
Trace the landform, label the elevations and give both landforms formal names.
