JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
The Arrowhead Junior Volleyball Association is excited to bring you the 7TH ANNUAL “QUEENS OF THE COURT”
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT. We have taken our 20 plus years of experience in coaching, officiating, special event planning
and even spectating to give us a broad perspective in planning this event for your progam.
BENEFITS & FEATURES
PLAYING FACILITIES - Play will be held at what we feel is the finest and most friendly
volleyball venue in Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin – The University of Superior –
Wisconsin
ASSIGNED OFFICIALS – Coaches, it’s time to relax. First referees will be assigned to all matches.
FOUR TEAM POOLS – The tournament will be structured utilizing four team pools. (We will only
consider five team pools if all pools within an age division are structured with five team pools.) The
Ace Pool will have the top four seeds and all will advance to the Diamond (Upper Division) playoff.
Teams the finish first or second from the Heart, Club and Spade pool will also advance to the Diamond
Division Playoff.
SPECTATOR SEATING & RELAXATION– Near court sided seating for all matches. Comfort plus with
a spacious common areas. We know that tournaments are a very long day for parents and spectators.
They will love UWS.
CAMP AREAS – Ample room for team camp areas.
ALL TOURNAMENT TEAM – There will be an all tournament “Queens of the Court ” team selection
process in both the 17/18 and 15/16 division.
HOSPITALITY ROOMS – A room will be designated for officials and coaches to relax between their
matches. It may be a great get-away to collect your thoughts.
COURT SET UP - Every court will be set-up according to regulation guidelines. Full team benches,
complete scorer’s table with electric clocks, and not to mention the roomy and unobstructed playable
surfaces / areas.
AWARDS, AWARDS, AWARDS! - We will also offer Championship Tee Shirts to the ACE OF
DIAMONDS DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONS. The ACE OF DIAMONDS FINALIST AND THE ACE OF HEARTS
DIVISION CHAMPION will receive medals.
NATIONAL ANTHEM – The National Anthem will be played prior to the start of the tournament.
VALUES GALORE! “DIVE SPORTSPLUS WEAR” WILL BE ON HAND SELLING TEE-SHIRTS AND
DISCOUNTED SPECIALS.
