This is the sixth report to be published under the Michigan Rotational Survey. This is administered by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and conducted by the Federal/ State Michigan Agricultural Statistics Service. A fruit inventory was conducted in 1994 followed by a vegetable inventory in 1995. A fruit inventory will be conducted in the fall of 1997 to restart the rotation. We sincerely appreciate the cooperation and assistance of all the growers who voluntarily provided the data that made this report possible. We ‘also extend thanks to the Michigan Nursery and Landscape Association, Michigan Christmas Tree Association, Michigan State University Cooperative Extension Service, and data collectors of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. We look forward to our continued successful relationship which brings us together for the benefit of Michigan’s agricultural industry. If you have any questions regarding this survey, or suggestions for improvement, please contact the Michigan Agricultural Statistics Service at (800)453-7501. Sincerely,
