Our Next Move
September 12th marked the first day of a new season: Mr. and Mrs. Hairfield! Since then, we have been
enjoying our new life as a husband and wife, and have been busy preparing for where the Lord is leading
us next. During our internships, God spoke to each of us that He was calling us to Kansas City to raise
our family and to serve Him and His body as intercessory missionaries at the International House of
Prayer (IHOP-KC), all unto the return of our Lord Jesus. We dearly love our family and friends in Virginia,
but are abandoned to following the Lord wherever He leads us. We have said yes to His invitation, and
are moving to Kansas City to join staff the first week of November.
IHOP-KC is a missions base committed to 24/7 prayer and worship of the Lord, and 24/7 acts of justice.
We get to run alongside hundreds of others that have said yes to partnering with the Lord by laying down
their lives in prayer and serving as His hands and feet. As intercessory missionaries, our first call is to
prayer. Daily we will join with other staff, interns and intercessors from the community in the prayer room
for corporate intercession over specific cities, our nation and the nations of the earth, the church, our
government, the youth and upcoming generations, justice issues, the great commission and many other
prayer needs. As staff, we also will be working with the justice teams and initiatives, and serving within
some of the many IHOP ministries, both on and off the missions base, such as the Children’s Equipping
Center, Hope City, different outreaches, and evangelism.

There is so much more to be said of how we are going to be spending our lives serving the Lord as intercessory
missionaries, and all the many things that He has put upon our hearts. If we were to tell
you everything in this newsletter, you would be reading a novel! With this in mind,
knowing that we will be over a thousand miles away from home and that we
have many family members and friends that we want to keep updated, we

out more about what we are doing, learn more about us and our

where you will find different testimo- nies, hear what is burning on our
hearts, and previous stories we have written over the last few years. In

can partner with us as we serve the Lord. With our passions for media and writing,
we pray that Hairfield Ink will be a place we can use these gifts for the glory of the Lord.

Our excitement is growing more and more each day as we draw closer to our move to Kansas City. God
has invited us into partnership with Him for the release of His kingdom on earth and to prepare the bride
of Christ for her returning King. We are eager to give our lives to this call. We know that apart from the
partnership of the body of Christ, we are handicapped in fulfilling all that the Lord has called us to do. God
loves partnership and would not have it any other way. As we prepare to enter into this next season, we
invite you to join together with us, and the Lord, as we give our lives to serving Him as intercessory
missionaries. There are two ways that you can partner with us: financial support and prayer support. If
God has stirred your heart to link arms with us, please contact us. We would love to schedule a meeting
with you before we leave, to go over in more detail what we will be doing and answer any questions you
