Adding Web Widgets to the iWeb Page
Widgets (sometimes called Gadgets) are miniature objects that offer cool and dynamic content
that can be placed on any page on the web. They include things like weather, time, calculator,
translators, and inspirational quotes.
1. First, you have to locate the widget you wish to use on the page. Go to
http://www.google.com/webmasters/gadgets/ to find widgets created by users for Google.
2. Click on Find Gadgets for your Webpage. Remember that you wish only to use widgets that
are appropriate for a school web site!
3. Scroll through the pages until you find one you wish to use. Always preview, as many include
some kind of advertising and we don’t want that on our school pages.
