Bridal Showers

Wedding Bells ring all year long! Suggest Bridal Shower parties!

Brides will begin housekeeping right...with our beautiful and practical

Tupperware products! And, there are no duplicate gifts that need to be

returned. Tupperware Bridal Showers are perfect and easy for Hosts

because the Consultant takes care of the games and entertainment.

Suggest A Tupperware Bridal Shower at Every Party!

Easy for the hostess: You plan the games and demonstration

Bride-to-be: Receives free products for her new home

Guests: No gift to buy, simply sit back and enjoy the fun!

Groom: Fresh food and an organized new kitchen!

Every Shower Needs Special Planning

A Bridal Shower needs a little extra planning, but it is well worth the

extra effort! At a shower, you are actually holding two parties in one! The

guests will be purchasing gift Tupperware for the Bride and will have the

opportunity to purchase items for personal use, as well. The Hostess decides

ahead of time that will receive Hostess credit. Hostess gifts earned with

total sales and datings can be presented to the Bride as a group gift or can be

retained by the Host as regular party credit. The Bride will be receiving her

gift Tupperware. Please discuss this option ahead of time with the Host so

there is no confusion at the time of the shower.

Invitations

Bridal Shower invitations work well with an insert that we provide.

(See insert next page). The insert explains how the shower works and

includes all of the party information. It is suggested that the Consultant

furnish a Congratulatory Card for the guests to sign at the party. The guests

bring the amount of money that would like to contribute for the Bride's

Tupperware in an envelope and the money is collected and counted before

the shower. Then, the total amount is announced and presented to the bride

as the festivities begin. The bride selects that amount of Tupperware from

the current catalog while guests can place personal orders.

It's a Tupperware Bridal Shower!

We are going to shower the bride with lots of Tupperware. Instead of

a wrapped gift, please bring the amount of money you would like to spend

on the bride. We will add it all together and then she will pick out all of the

Tupperware products she would like for her kitchen. You are also invited to

shop at the shower if you would like products for yourself or for gift giving.

Please join us for some fun, refreshments, and a chance to shower the bride

with products that last a lifetime.

Bridal Shower Preparation

"Dress Up" your display!

A few extra decorations make a Bridal shower really special. Find out wedding

colors and add a few bows or netting to your display in those colors. You might consider

making a corsage or "bouquet" out of Tupperware gadgets. Bridal Shower games are

played and a short demo is given on brand-new products and sales specials. Highlight

Host Specials. Bridal shower demos should be brief! The focus should be on the Bride,

placing her order, and giving time for guests to place personal orders, date the Bride for a

party in her new home, and date guests. The Bride's order form could be rolled up like a

diploma and tied with a ribbon. Mark the order form "paid" and make sure that the

guests know how much the Bride has to spend. Everyone will have fun seeing what she

selects! (The Bride selects that amount in retail Tupperware including tax. She does not

have the option of keeping the cash. Please discuss this ahead of time with the Bride and

the Host). A Door prize could be given to the guest with an anniversary closest to the

wedding date! (If a guest is single, she could use her birthdate.)

Bridal Shower Games

Introductory Game:

Have guests give their first name, a means of transportation and a place they

would like to go on a honeymoon...all to start with the same letter as the first letter in

their first name. Ex. "My name is Becky, we traveled by boat, and we went to Boston."

Or, "My name is Joyce, we traveled by a Jaguar, and we went to Japan."

Unscramble these words: Kitchen "Stuff"

Shanpid (dishpan) Hiarc (chair)

Ifnek (knife) Nosop (spoon)

Batle (table) Emrovicwa (microwave)

Torates (toaster) Partlet (platter)

Kins (sink) Wuteparpre (tupperware)

Korf (fork) Nstorieas (canisters)

Kitchen Tested Recipes!

The Hostess could ask the guests to bring their favorite recipe to the Shower on a

recipe card. Purchase a cute recipe box and present it to the Bride so that everyone can

put their recipe in the box and start the Bride's "favorite recipes" collection!

That Your Friends

Truly Love You,

There Can Be Little Doubt,

They Have Paid For Your Order,

All You Do Is Make It Out!!

they start to cook.

the cob (just place your hot corn in the container and put

some butter on top. Seal and rock from side to side.

Serve right from the container! No mess!

Of course any Tupperware you demonstrate is going to be needed by the

Newly Wed couple! Think about the group attending and personalize demo

to meet their needs and activities.

THE NEWLY WED GAME!

Take the men out of the room to a location the women cannot hear the questions. Give

each man 3 pieces of card stock (for each question you will ask). These should be

numbered 1, 2, 3 on the back. Have them write their answers to the question on the card.

(Make sure they don't mix up the numbered cards) Use these questions or think of your

own. The answers should be short.

Questions:

1. What will your wife say is the name of the last girl you dated before her?

2. What is one habit you have that your wife wishes you didn't have?

3. Not that your wife would ever get one but if she did, where would you want your wife

to get a tattoo?

Bring them back together (make sure they don't converse or show their answer). Then

ask each wife the same question one at a time. The husband reveals his answer after she

has answered. Give each couple 10 for matching answers.

Now take the wives out of the room (you could ask them their questions while they are

separated in the beginning but only if you have someone helping you with the demo).

They receive 4 pieces of card stock, numbered 1, 2, 3 & bonus. They write their answers

to the following questions or questions you have made up.

Questions:

1. What is your husband's favorite main course that you cook?

2. What will your husband say is the best gift you have ever given him?

3. What will your husband say your dream get away would be?

A. Caribbean Cruise B. Cabin in the mountains C. Romantic evening at home

Bonus. What is the one thing you do that drives your husband crazy?

Reunite them and ask questions one at a time. He reveals his answer after she gives hers.

They get 15 points for each matching answer. The bonus question is worth 35 points for

matching answers. The couple with the highest points wins the game! Everyone playing

receives a gift but the winners receive a really nice gift. Maybe something you've

selected especially for them (you have to know who is participating to ask the most fun

questions!) It should not cost a lot of money (protect your profitability) but, get

something nice.
