YANGON, 24 Aug—Families of Defence Serv-

ices (Army, Navy and Air) and wellwishers donated

provisions to six Pariyatti Sarthintaik in Ahlon Town-

ship at a ceremony held at Kwinkyaung monastery

this afternoon, attended by Lt-Gen Myint Swe of the

Ministry of Defence.

First, the congregation received the Nine Pre-

cepts from Kwinkyaung monastery Presiding

Sayadaw Maha Ganthavacaka Pandita Bhaddanta

Sujata. Next, Lt-Gen Myint Swe donated Waso

robes and provisions to the Presiding Sayadaw and

Chairman of Yangon Division PDC Commander of

Yangon Command Brig-Gen Win Myint, the vice-

mayor and senior military officers and officials to

members of the Sangha. Three military officers of

Defence Services (Army, Navy and Air) donated

cash and kind to the Presiding Saydaw.

Afterwards, wellwishers also donated cash

and kind to the Presiding Sayadaw.

Cash and kind donated to six Sarthintaik in
