marked “This Side Up” and must be facing downwards for this stage of assembly.

b) Insert the metal cross dowels into the four holes in the base. The screw heads must

face upwards. Align the hoizontal holes using a screwdriver as shown.

2 Connect Bed Heads To Base When building the Cot, use locating holes set ‘A’

When building the Bassinet, use locating holes set ‘B’

a) Connect the base to the left bed head. Ensure the metal guide channels on both bed head frames are facing the

correct way for this stage of assembly. Screw the two sections together using 2 bolts, but do not fully tighten.

4 Connect The Rear (Fixed) Panel

With these sections now assembled, carefully lift up and stand the cot on its legs.

5 Connect The Front (Adjustable) Panel

Insert the front (adjustable) panel between the left and right bed heads. NOTE: It is best to have assitance at this stage to avoid

damaging the side frames when inserting the glide pins into the guide channels. The bed head frames will need to be spread apart slightly

so the glide pins do not damage the timber. If required, untighten the bolts holding the frames together.

Push the upper glide pins into the top of the guide channels on the bed head frames. Depress the front locking buttons to release the

locks and then slide the front panel down a touch on either side. Once the top glide pins are in place, slide the bottom glide pins into the

bottom guide channels.

IMPORTANT: The top of the guide channels (both sides) must now be

secured using the 2 guard screws. The guard screws prevent damage

being caused to the side frames by preventing the front adjustable

panel from being accidentally removed or dislodged from the bed head

frames. This is also an important safety feature.

inwards simultaneously. Ensure that your hands are in a position to

support the side and slowly lower it.

To raise the side, simply lift it up with both hands until you hear it

click. The springs will automatically lock back into place.

Maintaining Your Tasman Eco Cot

To clean, wipe down with a soft cloth and soapy water. Avoid scourers and steel wool as

these will damage the finish. Two months after assembling the cot, re-tighten all connec-

tor bolts as some may loosen as the cot settles.

• DO NOT HANG ANYTHING NEARBY WHERE THERE IS A POTENTIAL DANGER OF THE ITEM FALLING INTO THE COT.

• KEEP ANY MEDICATION, STRING, ELASTIC, SMALL TOYS OR SMALL ITEMS SUCH AS MONEY OUT OF REACH FROM ANY

40mm. This is to minimise the risk of a child’s limb becoming caught in the gap. The thickness of the mattress has been specified to ensure

that the depth of the cot is greater than 500mm with the mattress base in the lower position to minimise the risk of a child climbing or falling

out of the cot.

Safety Consideration for Cot.

TO ENSURE SAFETY, REGULARLY CHECK ALL OF THE CONNECTING BOLTS AND GLIDE PINS MAKING SURE THAT THEY ARE TIGHT.
