and you should make every effort to attend. During this first week,

you will be enrolled into the College and onto your course as well as

participate in visits and ice-breaking activities with your group.

During Enrolment, tutors will check that you have the appropriate

qualifications for your course. You will need to bring your examination

certificates. Please ensure you retain these after enrolment, your tutor

does not need to keep these. Please note that any fees due will be

collected during the Enrolment period. If you are over 19 and you

are eligible for free tuition, please bring proof as required. Please see

Grant?

The Adult Learning Grant (ALG) is a means tested grant that provides

a weekly payment during term-time to adults aged 19 or over,

studying a full-time first full Level 2 (five GCSEs or equivalent) or full

Level 3 qualification (two A Levels or equivalent).

You can get up to £30 per week during term-time dependent upon

a financial assessment of your income. A live-in partner’s income

will be part of the assessment but if you live at your parents’ home,
