Publishing Your Web Site

hosting
• Free sites will have
– A sub-domain name
– For some sites, you will not be able to access
the site from school
– Will have banner and pop-up ads
A simple search on Google yields over 5 million hits:
Some sites claim to be free, but you have to pay for the domain name.
You can try a free trial site. I have not done this before; not sure what is involved.
If you already have a Yahoo account set up, it is very easy to start a web page.
