DIAMOND BAR EMPLOYEE ID BADGE POLICY AND PROOF OF RECEIPT
On their first day of work each employee of Unipac Shipping and Continental Agency
will be issued an ID badge/card. It is each employee’s responsibility to wear their ID
badge AT ALL TIMES, when they are in any Unipac Shipping or Continental Agency
facility. A picture ID will be affixed to one side of the badge.
The badge/card will also provide access to the north and south employee entrances.
Lobby entrance is for visitors. IT personnel are issued badges that will also unlock the
server room door.
All employees are to scan their badge into one of the card readers EVERY TIME THEY
ENTER THE OFFICE - even if the door is open for some reason. Employees who forget
their badge frequently (more than once a month) will receive a written warning and
multiple warnings will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
The company provides the first badge. Employees who lose this badge must wear a
temporary badge until a replacement can be provided. Employees will be responsible for
the cost of the second and any additional badges. Replacement badge/card cost is $20
New employees, summer interns, or employees working through a temporary service
must wear “temporary ID badges” AT ALL TIMES when they are in the any Unipac
Shipping or Continental Agency facility.
The undersigned received a badge (picture or temporary) today. By signing below each
employee confirms that they understand the policy and will be responsible for
wearing the badge AT ALL TIMES when they are on company property.
Employees will get a temporary badge from the front desk any time they forget their
badge and will notify Human Resources immediately if they lose their badge.
