The St Lawrence Shakespeare Festival runs from July 9 – August 13 at the Kinsmen
Amphitheatre in Prescott with performances Tuesday to Saturday 7pm, Matinees
Wednesdays and Saturdays 2pm, Sunday Series 2pm Ticket prices: Adult $25, Students

Yuk Yuk’s on Tour starts at 8pm at the Cardinal Legion. Tickets are available at the

Cornwall Motor Speedway Stock Car Racing Every Sunday at 6pm, where Kids 12 years
and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Free parking, free camping. September

Woodland’s chicken bbq is being held at the Cardinal Legion from 4:30 – 6:00pm.
Tickets are $12 per person and available from any festival member.

There is a Health & Wellness Clinic at Centre Charles Emile Claude on Wednesday
September 7 from 9am to noon. A registered nurse will be available for blood pressure,
blood and cholesterol checks, B12 injections, medication reviews and health teaching. No
appointment required.

Sep. 11

There is a free nursing clinic at the Agape Centre, 40 5th Street West on Friday
September 16 from 11am to 3pm. A registered nurse will be on hand to give general
health counseling, check blood pressure, screen for diabetes and cholesterol, B12
injections, and offer information on pregnancy and baby care. The nurse will also be
available to make referrals to other community agencies or programs if desired. For more

Celebrating 50 Years of Living History!

magic shows in the fairgrounds. See livestock, agricultural and dairy products,
vegetables, flowers, and fine arts. Join in the old fashioned fun and games which promise

Beauty and functionality come together to celebrate the art of quilting against the
colourful fall backdrop of Upper Canada Village. Quilting guilds from across Eastern
Ontario will display an amazing array of contemporary works, and a number of antique
and reproduction quilts from Upper Canada Village’s own collection will be on view as
well. Eavesdrop at an 1860s quilting bee and attend specialty quilt talks.
