CURRENT POST / CLINICAL ACTIVITY
Full time Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Hospitals Coventry and
Warwickshire / Clinical Director of Orthopaedic Department.
I was appointed in December 2003. My private practice includes both clinical and Medico-legal
work, and my NHS work includes both Upper Limb and Paediatric Orthopaedic work. The
Orthopaedic Service covers a population of approximately 600,000 with twenty-two consultants
and a full complement of juniors in both clinical and research positions.
I have also been the Clinical Director for Orthopaedic Surgery for the past two years.

CURRENT MEDICO-LEGAL ACTIVITY
I have been producing medico-legal reports for over five years, concentrating mostly on personal
injury and clinical negligence, and can offer evening and weekend consultations if necessary. I
currently produce about 20 medical reports per month, including high value complex cases,
workplace injuries and low value, RTA type, cases.
Case Split: Claimant 70% / Defendant 30%.
My waiting list is less than 6 weeks.
