Commodore’s Letter

The past year has seen an amazing transformation Sandringham Yacht Club has a very proud history

of our club. Of course, the most obvious is the new and the future is even more exciting than the

building, but of far greater importance has been past. We are held in high esteem by the peak

the way in which the members have embraced bodies of our sport, by members of federal and

the new facilities. The increased patronage in the state parliament, local council and our kindred

Yours sincerely,

to offer first class sailing and recreational boating

activities and the success of SYC members in

ocean races and national championships over the

Christmas/New Year period bears testament to our

commitment to our core purpose. But we cannot

rest on our laurels! Your General Committee are

working hard to ensure that the Club maintains its

position as a leading yacht club on Port Phillip and,

indeed, in Australia.

I take this opportunity to invite you to renew

your membership of the Club. Detailed in this

booklet, you will find details of the benefits of Philip Burn
