The day has arrived that Apple fans and general consumers can finally buy the new iPhone 4S,
after a week of pre-orders and statistics like over 1 million pre-orders made in first 24 hours the
latest iPhone is finally released.
Queues of fanatical Apple followers have even been camping outside stores to be the first to get
their hands on the new iPhone 4S whilst others waiting patiently near their front door for the

fact that so many people went out and bought the iPhone 4 on its release and only available in

still tied into a minimum term contract with one of the networks.
Obviously, there is no such problem with the release of the iPhone 4S as its uses exactly the
same casing as the previous model and white is already available, so with so many consumers
opting for the white edition we have to wonder just how well it would have done had the iPhone 4
been released in both colour schemes at the same time.
Comparing statistics with other Apple products that are available in white or have white accents to
their finish it does now seem that white is the preferred colour for Apple gadgets, the white iPad 2
sells just as well as the black edition whilst the iPod range enjoys different colour schemes aside
from white which outsell the black editions.
The best news for consumers is that both the black and the white iPhone 4S are priced exactly the
same and as the day wore on many retailers have already started discounting their original prices
with the current best deal for a free iPhone 4S 16GB now being offered by Vodafone at just £41
per month.
