LABEL TRANSFER CHECKLIST

Label transfer applications will not be processed on the same day when
you submit at the counter. Please see processing time.
NZ Citizen Endorsement (Immigration Act 2009): For details, please read
the checklist on our branch website. It may apply to you.
Label transfer fee
Application fee to be paid in Singapore Dollars by Visa or Mastercard credit card, debit
card**, bank draft or Singapore bank cheque made payable to Immigration New Zealand.

Original documents supplied must be in English or attach with official English
translation. Please also submit photocopies of these documents.
Please provide the following:
Transfer of valid visa label from old to new passport
For each applicant
1. A properly completed and signed Application for Transfer or Confirmation of a Visa
form (INZ 1023). (not required if applying in person)
2. Label transfer fee (charged per passport).
3. Original current passport.
4. Original expired or cancelled passport where the valid label is endorsed.
5. If you have not been transferring the visa label whenever you renew your passport,
provide those passports as well.
Lost/stolen passport where valid visa label was endorsed
For each applicant
1. A properly completed and signed Application for Transfer or Confirmation of a Visa
form (INZ 1023). (not required if applying in person)
2. Label transfer fee (charged per passport).
3. Original current passport.
4. Copy of lost/stolen passport details page and valid label (if available).
5. Original or copy of the police report or statutory declaration regarding the lost/stolen
passport(s).
Change of citizenship where valid visa label was endorsed in previous citizenship
passport
For each applicant:
1. A properly completed and signed Application for Transfer or Confirmation of a Visa
form (INZ 1023). (not required if applying in person)
2. Label transfer fee (charged per passport).
3. Original current citizenship passport.
4. Copy of previous citizenship’s passport details page and valid visa label.
5. Copy of letter of surrender of previous citizenship’s passport

Collection of your passports
You may come in person with your passport for the visa endorsement or send your passport
to this office and include a courier fee (payment methods on page 1) for the return of your
passport. The courier fee charges as follows:
